Thanks for stopping by! Today features a couple of rockin’ hats from Fanatics , an online shop for everything sports, specializing in apparel. Here in South Florida we are huge sports fans both men and women. As much as I love to support the Miami Heat , I can never forget my hometown teams back in Boston where I’m from (Go Pats! , Go Celtics! , Go Bruins! , Go Red Sox!). In undergrad my college was in walking distance from Fenway Park, so I’ve been to plenty of Red Sox games as well as hung out at the billiards and clubs on Lansdowne Street. Of course we fashionistas will rock sports apparel, but we still have to put our stylish flair and spin on things. So, I’ve created a couple of sets around some cool hats from Fanatics. Keeping in mind that you can show your team spirit at a multitude of spots in your city outside of the actual stadium/arena I’ve added a couple of shoe options for the occasion 🙂 Are you or any of your loved ones sports Fanatics? Then you have to check them out! Represent your teams in the comment section below! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!

Happy Monday, I have the day off from work due to Dr. King’s birthday. So I’m at home relaxing until I have to go to the gym later. I’ve had a few request to post about my workout routine, so I’ll try to get that together real soon! Today’s look is from the weekend. I was supposed to catch the movie ‘Selma’ with my mom but she cancelled on me LOL whomp whomp! She did help take these photographs of me though (it was the least she could do ‘wink wink’) . These are a pair of boyfriend shorts that I picked up on sale at Gap, however they ran big so I had the waist taken in. I’m thinking about distressing them a bit more as well. I have to take in a lot of my clothes because certain designers run pretty large even when the tag size reads 0, which is pretty irritating but I’m sure my tailor doesn’t mind at all! I really love boyfriend shorts with button down shirts of any kind such as the inspo ones I posted from Pinterest in gingham, plain white and stripes. I also love to rock them with graphic or plain white tees with a shirt tied at the waist. It really depends on my mood. Finally, although I rock them with sneakers, I do prefer them with heels. How do you like to rock your denim shorts? Share your thoughts in the comments section and I’ll see you next time! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
It’s been an amazing week so far. I really enjoyed co-hosting the Style Me Wednesday Link-Up with Liz of Shopping My Closet yesterday. If you’ve missed it, I am also co-hosting an amazing $300 Michael Kors gift card giveaway! Click here for more information and to enter 🙂 I would be remiss if I didn’t admit to looking towards the weekend. I will be volunteering at the New Teacher Orientation for my school district. Although I have to show up at 7 am on Saturday (YIKES!), I am looking forward to the experience and having an opportunity to participate in the intake of new educators to our county school system. Other than that I don’t have any major plans for the weekend. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this gorgeous weather we are having continues, that definitely gives you incentive to stay outdoors all day! I’ve been craving Lemongrass Asian Bistro which is a great restaurant in Boca Raton, FL. I also have some movies on my list so I’ll probably entice some friends to tag along with me. What are your weekend plans? Until next time dolls…Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
I’m one day away from my amazing weekend with Oprah Winfrey. Some friends and I are attending her The Life You Want Weekend. She will be transforming Museum Park Miami into O Town (a pop up town square ) which is an interactive event experience. This is in addition to the actual weekend of events taking place at the American Airlines Arena. Oprah is the only famous person that I may actually go FAN-atic over. Her story and rise to fame and notoriety is truly inspirational. I can’t begin to tell you how stoked I am ! I’ll be sure to take pics and share my experience over the weekend with you. On another note, the outfit featured today is a drawstring skirt I purchased at a thrift shop run, I made with a friend a few months back. I really like the green and will be playing around with different items to pair it with. Here I went with a more semi casual look with the graphic tee. I like the contrast of black and white with the color green. Some other great pairings with green are yellow, pink, denim, and navy. Hope you like! Until next time! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
Glad you stopped by for a visit 🙂 I’m a very girly girl and love to dress up. One of my faves for the workplace are sheath dresses! I love sheath dresses. I think they are flattering on any body type and are a great look for the office. The one featured today I love simply because of the color, I paired it with animal print heels for a touch of fun! You can find sheath dresses in a variety of price points so it is a great way to update your work attire and look like a million bucks even if you simply spent $11 like I did once on one I found on sale at Ann Taylor Loft. You can accessorize them with necklaces of any size, brooches, blazers and cardigans. They are just sexy enough to wear to happy hour after work, while still maintaining the conservativeness of the office environment. Sheath dresses can also be worn outside of the workplace depending on the material they are made of. I have a few satin ones for more formal occasions. These get turned up a notch by simply throwing on a pair of open toe stilettos. Hope you are having a great Tuesday! Until next time! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
I’m sitting here chuckling because although it’s coming into the Fall season where most of you I’m sure will be pulling out your sweaters, jeans, tights, boots, etc. Here in S. Florida it’ll be awhile before we can do the same, when it finally comes, it won’t last very long. We are in the peak of our Hurricane Season which means it’s very hot, and unbearably humid! Ugggh, I’m so over it LOL. I live for Florida winters..when we sometimes drop to the 40s and spend the days in the 70s. In this pic, I was beach bound with a couple of my friends, I wore these cut offs that were a great buy and paired it with a simple white airy button down shirt which doubled as a cover up. I don’t mean to make you jealous but we’ll be flip flopping it for awhile 🙂 Catch ya later loves. Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
BTW, today is the 1 month anniversary of my blog! I know it’s a very small milestone but I am still ecstatic about it. I am really enjoying posting daily on the blog as well as my social media pages. If you haven’t already, please link up with me via Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram 🙂 I hope to continue to grow as a blogger and can’t wait to celebrate the 1 yr anniversary of Dressed2dnines.com!
Well, we are finally into September and the year is zooming on by! Before you know it, we’ll be toasting to the New Year. At this point I have a few things in the works, two weddings to get sexy for, a bridal shower, a baby shower, my birthday, and travel for the month of December. I haven’t decided where I want to go yet, but I have 2 weeks off in which to visit somewhere. Today’s outfit is one of my faves, I have really fallen in love with certain colors and this outfit has all three (red, green, yellow)! I love the concrete jungle look of the background against my island girl vibe. All pieces can be worn with many other items in my closet, so you can’t lose when you purchase clothes that are versatile. Talk about getting the most bang for your buck! Hope you enjoy, until next time! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
