Glad to see you back and still holding strong during this hectic work week! Today is a flashback at my looks from the month of October. I see that my floral heels and high waist Gap jeans were on repeat performance and I actually love both looks. Stripes always seem to make their way into every month I think. Here in muggy South Florida, October brought us at least 2 weeks of tropical weather which was wonderful. It was never too hot and even better it was humidity free. That ended some time last week but it was certainly good while it lasted! I hear there is a cold front looming in the horizon, I can’t wait! Have a great one 🙂
It’s amazing how the weekends fly by don’t they?! I can’t believe that we are back at work already! I so wish schools were on a 4 day 10 hour a day rotation. I’d rather stay later, if it meant losing that 5th day LOL. Today’s look features this black and white portofino blouse I got from Express some time over the summer and it’s definitely the one I wear the most. I don’t know what it is about black and white paired together but I seem to wear it a lot without thinking and I do love the stark contrast between light and dark. I added this studded tote as a neutral break up of the color pattern and it went very well with the BCBGeneration studded heels (my RockStud dupes). I actually like how the look turned out and on an even better note it was also extremely comfortable.
We’re all back at it again for another week aren’t we? The school year is winding down, we literally have 7 weeks left to the school year. Everyone is getting a bit stir crazy as the summer draws near. Apparently so is our S. Fl weather, as we had a bit of a heat wave here this weekend. The temps felt like the 90s! Needless to say the beaches were jammed packed.
Today’s look features a pair of tailored pants from Bisou Bisou. I really love the way these pants fit, the length is perfect to wear with heels or flats. The color pairs very well with both light and dark colors in a variety of tops from peplums to camis. Finally this would be a great pair of pants to rock with skinny suspenders or a bowtie with a pair of masculine inspired heels . Hope you have an awesome week, see you back here on Wednesday! 🙂
Well we’ve made it to the end of yet another work week and now it’s time to let our hair down and relax! Actually I have work in the morning..I am volunteering to take part in my school district’s New Teacher Academy, I look forward to the experience. I have an interest in transitioning out of the classroom into the field of Staff Development, specifically the professional training and development of educators. So I guess you could say I’m paying my dues, and gathering up experiences to make it happen!
South Florida is scheduled to have a cold front this weekend, I can’t wait *squeals like a kid* LOL.
I must say since I really started taking my shopping ban seriously, I’m becoming a remix queen. I’ve found some combinations in my closet that I never thought of before. It’s almost like rediscovering myself. I hope you like what I’ve paired up. Some outfits just lend themselves to certain accessories like this one featured below and my glasses from Firmoo. They just seemed to make the perfect combo and I must say I love the end result. Hope you enjoy them as well! Until next time! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!

Happy hump day! This week as I visit many of my favorite blogger sites, I’ve noticed almost all of you have been blogging about your 2015 blogging goals and they have truly inspired me! So far to me, some of the best things about being a new blogger has been not only having so many places to visit for fashion inspiration and meet and make new friends, but also to learn and grow from all of the great post out there. I’ve also loved reading post on The Blogger Collective, especially the most recent topic of business cards! I would have never thought them necessary or ever really considered how important they were until recently when I was at my first blogger event and was asked by several people for my business card. Of course I didn’t have one, so I had to collect theirs and make sure I reconnected with each person I met through social media. So even though, I was able to network and feel as though I’ve gained something from attending the event, it would have been great to have cards. Just like in the business world, when I attend professional events, I always exchange cards with other professionals..so why not the same as a blogger. Of course the fashionista in me is thinking about which of my friends are are graphic designers to ask if they can create a cute graphic for my cards and I’d love a Kate Spade card holder LOL (all roads lead back to fashion don’t they?) So in closing, I want to put it out there, that I am learning and growing from all of you and I hope that one day my blog can in turn serve as an inspiration to someone as so many blogs have for me! I’m a work in progress! So until next time..Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
