Glad to see you back and still holding strong during this hectic work week! Today is a flashback at my looks from the month of October. I see that my floral heels and high waist Gap jeans were on repeat performance and I actually love both looks. Stripes always seem to make their way into every month I think. Here in muggy South Florida, October brought us at least 2 weeks of tropical weather which was wonderful. It was never too hot and even better it was humidity free. That ended some time last week but it was certainly good while it lasted! I hear there is a cold front looming in the horizon, I can’t wait! Have a great one 🙂
Hope you are surviving the week so far! Today I’m rocking some stripes. I’ve worn this skirt here before and am slowly coming up with various ways to style it. I’d love to find a neutral shade of denim in a light olive wash to pair it with as well. Any other style ideas for me? I’m wearing two necklaces layered together which is an idea I picked up from Caryl, it really gives your more simple pieces a pop!
I hope you have entered the Target gift card giveaway. If not you still have time to do so by clicking here. See you again closer to the weekend friends!
It’s amazing how the weekends fly by don’t they?! I can’t believe that we are back at work already! I so wish schools were on a 4 day 10 hour a day rotation. I’d rather stay later, if it meant losing that 5th day LOL. Today’s look features this black and white portofino blouse I got from Express some time over the summer and it’s definitely the one I wear the most. I don’t know what it is about black and white paired together but I seem to wear it a lot without thinking and I do love the stark contrast between light and dark. I added this studded tote as a neutral break up of the color pattern and it went very well with the BCBGeneration studded heels (my RockStud dupes). I actually like how the look turned out and on an even better note it was also extremely comfortable.
Happy Monday! It’s already time for another outfit recap, I feel like I just did the one for March yesterday LOL. The months are flying by and I don’t mind because that’s one step closer to summer vacation! One thing I noticed in all of my pics for this month, I had my hands on my hips a LOT! I also have a little bit of chambray and stripes thing going this past month. So let’s bid April farewell and hope that this month is speedy, fun and fashionable! Make it a great one friends 🙂
We are officially at the hump, I’m starting to feel the call of the weekend! We are all breathing a slight sigh of relief here at the schools…our 3d grade babies have finally completed their high stakes testing period for this school year. Now we bite our nails waiting for the scores *le sigh*.
On to something much more fun! During my spring break, I finally made it out to the Wynwood Arts district in Miami. I’m always getting tagged to great festivals and other events in this area so I just wanted to check it out. It’s a pretty hip area and it’s within driving distance of so many posh and hipster art gallery, restaurants and all of this DOPE art. I decided to go for a bit of a hip hop B girl (refers to one who devotes themselves to the culture of hip hop; a breakdancer) chic look myself, rocking a striped pencil skirt and my favorite pair of high top chucks. Hope your hump day is a good one! See you soon dolls! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
So it’s the last day of 2014, I thought it would be proper to share some of my favorite looks for this year. Although technically my blogging timeline began in August of 2014, I can’t believe how many post I put out there into the blog-o-sphere since that time! I’ve met so many awesome bloggers and other fashion minded folks such as myself and I really want to thank you guys for welcoming me with open arms. Thank you to those bloggers who have collaborated with me, offered great advice, stop by regularly to comment and finally those who also interact with me on other social platforms. Extra love to the small but steady group of followers who show me love pretty regularly! I really appreciate your kindness! My 2015 wish for my blog is to continue to build a strong following and work on building my brand. Of course, I’d love to learn from those of you who have been there and done that, so please drop me a line of advice in the comment box today! I wish you all a prosperous and blessed upcoming new year! Without further adieu, here are some of my favorite looks of 2014 🙂 Peace & Blessings! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
