Valentines …Galentines: It’s all about love!

Hey dolls,

Today I’m so happy to team up with these gorgeous ladies for this Valentines/Galentines post! To get a jump-start on your Valentines Day look we’re giving away a $50 gift card to Sephora. Good luck to you friends!

When I think of Valentines Day, it’s definitely a commercialized holiday that people go broke trying to keep up with the Jones; when in essence it should be a celebration of love. Love has no real price tag. After all true love is priceless and can’t be brought at all can it? Those of you who are fortunate enough to have fallen in love with your soul mate know exactly what I’m talking about! For those of us who are single, such as myself..the holiday reminds me that there is no love greater than self-love and before we can ever fully open ourselves to loving someone else we must first fall in love with ourselves! So please ladies, whether you are married, dating or single, take a moment this weekend to show yourself some love as well. In fact, make it a habit 🙂  I hope you have an amazing Valentines Day with your loved ones!

Valentines

Today’s look has me feeling fun, flirty and sexy! I absolutely love this jumpsuit from Express and the way it fits. It’s the perfect get up for a Valentines date with your man or a Galentines celebration with the girls. I paired it with the mandatory red needed for the holiday and I really love the outcome. Oh and don’t worry, I didn’t cut my hair but I did buy this amazingly adorable wig and had my stylist cut it into the style you see here. I feel like a completely different person, which is totally fun!

Kisses! Besos! Bisous!

Cheers to the weekend friends!

Glad to see you back here in my little Blogland space. Today, I’m keeping it super casual with these uber adorable lace up ballerina flats from Zara. I’ve seen these style flats all over the net and I swear I want them in every color they come in as well as the different finishes. These beauties are a suede material and hence dirty easily given the light color, nevertheless I am so in love with them. In the past I wasn’t a lover of flats but over the last year or so I find myself adding more and more to my collection because they now come in so many awesome styles. Have you gotten yourself a pair of lace up flats as well? What color are yours?  Have an amazing weekend dolls 🙂

P.S. The Firmoo glasses giveaway ends tonight at midnight. Here’s your last shot at submitting your entry! Good luck!

Off The Shoulder Fab

Happy Hump Day Dolls,

Today I’m back with this little number from Choies. I really adore the color on me. I’ve seen so many off the shoulder looks this summer and I swear I’ve coveted them all! This on is actually inspired by a gorgeous chambray dress that Courtney Kerr wore on her blog this summer that I pinned. It’s such a simple dress but it really steals the show paired with accessories such as heels, booties or these lace up gladiators I’m wearing. A simple brooch and Ray Ban mirrored aviators rock this out to the max! Hope you love the look as much as I do!

Olive & Plaid

Happy Monday friends,

Hope you had a fun-filled and relaxing weekend! Can those two words exist in the same sentence together? I hope so LOL.  I almost didn’t make it out to do anything on Saturday because I literally spent the entire Friday feeling out of sorts. Woke up with a pretty bad sore throat , which later got joined with a migraine and body aches for pretty much the entire day. I had to skip the gym and retire to bed early and by Saturday I was back to normal. Thank goodness because I attended a great women’s seminar entitled “Money, Power & Respect.” I was able to network with and learn from some amazing women.  Secondly, I had a blast celebrating Rachelle’s dirty 30 birthday dinner at a pretty posh restaurant. So I’m glad I was able to attend both events.

Today’s look features a plaid shirt from Express that I first saw on Carylee and loved. I paired with these zippered cargo pants from H&M and this stunning gem and pearl headband from Irresistible Me.  I really love the finished look. The headband really took the look up a notch and tying the shirt at the waist was a hit for me. I wish I had done more than just go to work that day! Ever feel like you look way too hot for your real life?  LOL

A Little Goes A Long Way

TGIF Friends,

Ever get dressed up, leave the house and then realize as you are half way down the road running late for an appointment that you failed to put any type of jewelry on your arms and fingers? Yeah, me neither! LOL As you can see in my pics below I did just that! However, I did remember to rock this dainty and pretty silver Topaz necklace custom-made by the folks at Anjolee. They can customize all kinds of jewelry including diamond wedding rings *gasp*. What girl not only dreams about that perfect engagement ring, but definitely has her eye and heart set on one that is designed with her in mind and looks like no other? The bling on this site has me drooling now I just need one of those lovely girl meets boy, girl falls in love with boy, and boy proposes to girl type of situations and I’m all set! Hope you guys have a great weekend 🙂

Simply Green

Happy Midweek!

I can’t tell you how many times I put items in my virtual shopping cart in the last couple of days only to hit the X on the tab and log off. LOL. Either  I just wasn’t feeling that passionate about any one item or I was just being cheap, who knows! *Shrugs*  🙂

Today I’m rocking another pair of ankle pants this time from J.Crew. I absolutely love this pair because green is one of my favorite colors. I really love the way it pops against my complexion. This green portofino is literally my first one from Express. I have since added a second one to my wardrobe but I will never be able to compete with a few of you lovelies (namely Rachelle, Gina, Denise and Caryl <3 )!  You ladies do however inspire me tremendously so I do hope you like this choice of color!  Have a great hump day friends!

Tuxedo Vest + Distressed Denim

Happy Monday Friends!

I hope you are enjoying a day off.  Let’s not forget the real reason for this holiday! Please take a moment to thank a vet or  soldier on active duty for their service to this country. Take a moment to say a prayer for those who gave their lives for our freedom and rights.

Today’s look features a long white with black trim vest which I think dressed up this otherwise casual look of a plain white pocket tee, heels and distressed jeans. I’ve wanted a long vest for sometime now and I’m really pleased with this one. Being that it is black and white, I can pair it with so many other looks. Over a sheath dress, or with a graphic tee and denim for example.  I am also really wanting a sleeveless trench coat and an olive utility vest but can’t seem to run into any ones I like.  So I guess I’ll just have to keep scouring the net 🙂 See you soon friends, make it a good one!

Dressed up + Dressed down

Happy Hump Day!

Not sure why but I’m in a really good mood! Ever get the feeling that something amazing is right around the corner for you, about to happen? That’s kind of how I’m feeling…like prayers are about to be answered very soon and all of this hard work that I’m putting in and the bit of time I have to myself will reap the intended fruit. So today I’m in a chill relaxed mood so I wanted my look to reflect it. Today I’m wearing a pair of super comfy leather trimmed joggers with one of my favorite peplum tops of faux leather. I put it over a crew neck tshirt and finished off the look with my chucks. I’m pretty pleased with the finished product and of course there is nothing better than being comfortable and chic all at once! Until next time doll! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!

Chambray Peplum + Denim

Hey guys,

Hope everyone had a fun relaxing weekend! I’m going to keep today’s post short and sweet because oddly enough, my poor fingers are killing me. Hazards of spending hours working on a computer I suppose. I seriously feel like I need to pay to have a great hand massage.

Today’s look features the cutest peplum top from Choies.com. They have a great selection of super cute items to choose from. My only piece of advice would be to order a size up from your regular size as Asian sizes run small. I decided to pair the top with denim skinny jeans and a pair of floral pumps.  I fell in love with this top because it has three things that I love chambray, stripes and the peplum look, to find them all combined in one top was exciting! LOL. I’m sure I will get a lot of use out of this top over the spring and summer seasons.  What do you have your eye on for this season?  Kisses! Besos! Bisous!

Full Bloom!

Happy April Fools!

April showers bring May flowers as they say but we’ve been blessed with a bit of a cold front here in S. Florida. By cold front I mean a refreshing breeze. We wake up in the high 50s, low 60s and by 10 am it’s 80 degrees. LOL.  Personally, I’m for anything that keeps that nasty humid heat at bay! If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed that I straightened my hair this past weekend, humidity is the worse, so that’s another reason I prefer the cool breeze. I found an anti humectant at Aveda that I’m testing out, I’ll let you know if it works!

With the onset of the 2015 Spring season and all the great fashion trends that go with it, one of my favorites are  floral patterns. They are everywhere, in pants, skirts, heels and tops. You name it, they make it in a floral print. So I’m going with the trend today rocking this super cute pencil skirt from J. Crew.  I threw a denim jacket over my button down, and I was in love.  I don’t know what it is about denim/chambray that always makes an outfit awesome, whether it’s a compliment to what you are wearing or a part of your main overall look.  Here’s to April, dolls! Make it a good day 🙂 Until next time…Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
