Fringe & Stripes : Workplace Style

Hey guys,

I’m back! I spent the last week and a half in sunny but cold California with Rachelle, Jewel and Charnele. We had a blast! The trip was made even better because I had the opportunity to meet Caryl, Gina and Noelle in person for the first time. We all agreed that we were all shorter in person than we thought, the meet up was all laughs and pics of course! We’re bloggers after all 🙂  If you’ve been following my IG you’ve already seen a few pics. I’ll try to post some more this week or next here on the blog.

I’m still on winter break and dreading going back to work on the 4th,  but it’s Monday so I wanted to share another workplace look. Today’s look features two things that I’m a bit obsessed with: fringe & stripes! I fell in love with this striped shift dress when I saw it on Zara’s website mostly because of the leather pockets. I have a thing for anything with leather detailing. It would work well with a fitted blazer in cooler weather as well as high heels or some super sexy ankle boots with tights. A leather moto would also work well in lieu of a blazer if you want to edge it up a bit with the boots.

Kisses! Besos! Bisous!

TGIF Beautiful People!

I made it through my first week at work, whew! (wipes brow).  Next week the real work begins, the students come back but today I’m happy it’s Friday!

Camisoles have fast become a closet staple, even when dressed with more casual pieces they always keep your look very chic. They range in price from $10 and up and can be found pretty much anywhere you shop. I’ve newly developed a love for them, thanks to seeing some of my favorite bloggers such as Rachelle, Charnele and Gina rock them.  I only have a few in my closet right now but wanted to share with you 3 simple ways you can rock them with some other items in your closet and get the most bang for your buck. What woman doesn’t love a piece that she can remix like new over and over with just a tweak of an accessory, shoes and bottoms?

Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
