Today I’m back with this little number from Choies. I really adore the color on me. I’ve seen so many off the shoulder looks this summer and I swear I’ve coveted them all! This on is actually inspired by a gorgeous chambray dress that Courtney Kerr wore on her blog this summer that I pinned. It’s such a simple dress but it really steals the show paired with accessories such as heels, booties or these lace up gladiators I’m wearing. A simple brooch and Ray Ban mirrored aviators rock this out to the max! Hope you love the look as much as I do!
I made it through my first week at work, whew! (wipes brow). Next week the real work begins, the students come back but today I’m happy it’s Friday!
Camisoles have fast become a closet staple, even when dressed with more casual pieces they always keep your look very chic. They range in price from $10 and up and can be found pretty much anywhere you shop. I’ve newly developed a love for them, thanks to seeing some of my favorite bloggers such as Rachelle, Charnele and Gina rock them. I only have a few in my closet right now but wanted to share with you 3 simple ways you can rock them with some other items in your closet and get the most bang for your buck. What woman doesn’t love a piece that she can remix like new over and over with just a tweak of an accessory, shoes and bottoms?
So I am just waking up this morning and realizing I didn’t hit the publish button on this post! HA! Guess I was having too much fun yesterday hanging out with a friend that flew in from out-of-town to spend some time with me this weekend! Sooooo, here it is, a fun relaxed look for the fourth. Tomorrow I’ll be spending it handing on the Ft. Lauderdale Beach boardwalk, they have activities all day long with food, live music and finally fireworks so this would be a great look to just chill or even throw on a bikini under if I cared to hit the water. I find myself living in cut offs this summer because they are so easy to pair with any top whether it’s a cami, crop, or button down. You really can’t go wrong with denim bottoms. Distressed ones are my favorites. Also, I am obsessed with gladiator sandals, somehow they dress up an outfit very nicely. I’ve seen some hot ones on a lot of bloggers lately and I’m loving the trend. Happy 4th of July friends, hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Welcome back to my little spot on the web 🙂 I just returned to S. Fl from a mini vacation in Texas and then Georgia it was really great to get some time in with my family. It was also a nice break from blogging. I truly think we all have to step away every now and again and just live our lives. Without the worries of deadlines, perfect pictures and supplying our social media pages with details of our day-to-day. Over my break, I spent my days going to bed late and waking up even later, bonding with my sis-in-law Ari and smothering my niece Liyah with kisses, not a bad trade-off at all 🙂 Hope you all can forgive my absence!
Today’s look features one of my favorite trends the peplum top. I love this eyelet one I got from the Gap a few months back. Being that it’s white, you can really pair it with so many other pieces, I opted for an all white look with these distressed white shorts from Express and a pair of gladiator sandals. Some gold accessories finished off the look and I was chic and comfy all day long. I really love a great all white look, just as much as I love an all black one. I really must find some other crisp white looks to rock this summer. I’m still looking for those white overalls and now I’ve added a nice white summer dress to my wish list. ‘Til next time!
