Fringe & Polka Dots: Work Style

Hi dolls,

Fringe is definitely one of the hottest trends out right now. I have lusted over the Aquazzura Wild Thing fringe heel since their release. However, I was leery of spending so much money on this particular pair of heels, so I began to search for a more budget friendly pair.  Trends are only HOT until their NOT so why spend big bucks? When I found these pair by Steve Madden, I couldn’t order them fast enough.  They had just as much sex appeal without giving your wallet a heart attack. They also come in a few different colors, I’ve got my eye on the cobalt blue ones…oh my! I opted for this nude color because you can pair nude with a variety of colors and living in S. Florida, I can wear these year round with the rare exception of the 2.5 days the temperature here falls below 60.

Today I’m rocking them with one of my favorite midi skirts and another denim shirt. This one being a lighter wash. This outfit reminded me of those cotton commercials starring  Carrie Underwood , can I just tell you how utterly comfortable this look is! You can’t go wrong with a look that meets the 3 C’s chic, comfortable and cheap (well within reason!). Happy Humpday guys…see you back around here again soon!

Denim Swag

Hey guys and gals, we made it! When I wake up on Fridays, I always feel a sense of relief. Just a few more hours and I’ll be back home relaxing. I had these pics from my summer in Europe, specifically London so I figured I’d post them today on this casual and relaxed work day. I haven’t worn this denim head wrap since but totally loved the look. Of course denim is easily one of the most versatile pieces in our closets. It’s amazing how simply tying a denim shirt around your waist can finish off a look.  I totally felt like one of the locals LOL. Now if only I could develop that wonderful British accent I’d be in for sure! This look totally reminds me of the following pic, what do you think?

Given all that’s been going on in Paris as of late, Europe has been heavy on my mind. I pray for my family members over there and the resilient people of Paris.  I hope you guys enjoy a wonderful weekend! Rumor has it we’re in for a bit of a cold front here in S. Florida soon, so I’m crossing my fingers!
