My name is Daphnee and I’m ashamed to admit that I have a real television addiction, well I also have a shopping one as well but we won’t talk about that LOL. I have fallen in love with a new Netflix original show called “Dare Devil” it’s sooooo good! If you’re into Marvel comics made for the big screen, check it out!
Well on to the fashion portion! I’ve rocked quit a bit of black and white lately and I have to say I’ve loved them all. B&W really is such a winning combination and looks impeccable together. Two totally opposite colors of the spectrum living together perfectly! This quilted peplum top fits and flares out perfectly, and looks so dressy to be so simple in black. Of course, stripes are a must and this pencil skirt hugs in all the right places and the cotton material makes it comfy as well. Add a statement piece from Rocksbox, a slamming pair of heels and you’ve got a great workplace or after 5 look.
Holy cow, May is over with guys! I have about 4 days left and the 2014-15 school year will be a wrap! As always the start of a new month brings the outfit recap. Here is a look-see of this months looks! My favorites are pics #1 , #2 and #4. Keeping it short and sweet today, see you guys on Wednesday right back here! 🙂

Happy Monday! It’s already time for another outfit recap, I feel like I just did the one for March yesterday LOL. The months are flying by and I don’t mind because that’s one step closer to summer vacation! One thing I noticed in all of my pics for this month, I had my hands on my hips a LOT! I also have a little bit of chambray and stripes thing going this past month. So let’s bid April farewell and hope that this month is speedy, fun and fashionable! Make it a great one friends 🙂
Today, I want to share some work place fashion inspiration. These looks are based off of my closet staples that I’ve worn on the blog. Let’s begin with the first look, which features a peplum top and pencil skirt, two things I wear quite often. I love peplum tops, they come in a variety of styles and textures, so even if you own a few of them, they don’t all look the same. The second look is a tunic dress with a pop of color. If you’ve noticed, I love to insert a pop of color into my outfits. Whether it’s a monochromatic look or one that could simply use an accent color; bright colors add a touch of needed flavor to almost anything you wear. You can’t beat a midi skirt with stripes as shown in the third look! Stripes are great paired with other patterns and are also another trick for breaking up monochromatic looks. I always have a lot of files and books on me, so I typically have to carry at least one large tote bag. So for those days when I want to wear a clutch to work, it has to double as my wallet. I will use my Coach briefcase bag seen here for my big items and put the clutch inside of it, pulling it out for those moments I want to give my work place look a transition to after 5 attire. Happy hours & professional mixers are perfect for this! The great thing about each of these items is that you can remix them in many ways! For example, the windowpane tunic can be remixed as a top under a pleated or leather midi skirt. What are some of your work place closet staples? Until next time! Kisses! Besos! Bisous!
